Individually handprinted Linocut based on my original mixed-media painting Heron in the Irises. Available with or without 23kt golf leaf or platinum embellishments and can be ordered mounted or unmounted.
 
The image was drawn, cut and inked by hand and then traditional press printed individually.
I have use the jigsaw method of printing so this piece is created from 7 pieces of lino that are individually inked with a gradient of colour and then very carefully pieced together ready for print. This gives an extra special variation of colour from a standard black and white version of the image.
 
This is a variable edition of only 20 plus 2 colour artist's proofs and 2 black and white artist's proofs
Prints can be embellished with gold or platinum leaf.
They are titled, numbered and signed by the artist.
Printed using Caligo Safe Wash Oil based inks on Strathmore Printmaking Paper 120gsm.
 
Due to the individually handmade aspect of these prints, there will be slight variations in texture and colour that make each print one of a kind.
 
Image size approx 8x12in on 11x14in paper.
Mounted option fits a 12x16in frame. Frame not included.
 
Due to the slow drying nature of oil based inks, pre orders may take up to 2 weeks to dry enough to be shipped.
